The annual GEBCO Bathymetric Science Day is held during GEBCO's meetings and
is open to all. It consists of oral and poster presentations on a wide range of topics relating to
ocean-floor mapping and its applications.
Presentations are now available from the Sixth Annual GEBCO Science Day along with those from previous years.
This year, Science Day was held on 4th October at Scripps Institution of Oceanography, La Jolla, USA.
There were 12 oral presentations and 11 poster displays on topics ranging from the surveying of tsunami-damaged harbours in Japan to historical reviews of ocean-floor mapping activities.
