This version of the GEBCO_08 Grid was released in November 2010. It includes new bathymetric compilations for the Black Sea, Caspian Sea and Weddell Sea regions.
Please note that the latest version of the GEBCO grid is GEBCO_2014.

Data set provider: Alfred Wegener Institute for Polar and Marine Research (AWI)
Supplied data set: Gridded data set for the Weddell Sea region at 30 arc-second intervals, based on the Bathymetric Chart of the Weddell Sea (BCWS). The BCWS is a 1:1,000,000 map series plus a 1:3,000,000 master sheet based on compilations of bathymetric data in the Weddell Sea.
