An updated version of the IHO-IOC GEBCO Cook Book, is now available from web pages hosted at the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) Laboratory for Satellite Altimetry.
Release of the IHO-IOC GEBCO Cook Book
The newly-released IHO-IOC GEBCO Cook Book is a technical reference manual on how to build a bathymetric grid.
GEBCO develops and makes available global gridded bathymetric data sets. One of the aims of the IHO-IOC GEBCO Cook Book is to support and encourage further participation in bathymetric grid development work.

The IHO-IOC GEBCO Cook Book covers a wide range of topics, for example

- data cleaning
- gridding examples
- software overviews
It includes input from a number of individuals and organisations, all of whom are experts in their respective fields. It is intended that the IHO-IOC GEBCO Cook Book will be updated and extended as new material becomes available.
